At Sabbatiani, Haeretici a Sabbatio, qui principatu Diocletiani vixit, dicti sunt, qui alias Quatuordecimani, seu Tessarescaedecatitae, quos vide. Α᾿ριςτεροὺς eosdem appellatos, monet Cl. Suicerus Thesaur. Eccl. in voce hac. Nempe non die Dominicâ, ur reliqui Christiani, sed quartâ decimâ lunâ Pascha cum Iudaeis clebrabant, unde Τεςςαρεςκαιδεκατικῶν appellatio. Iidem quod sinistram manum abhorrentes, per eam nihil penitus reciperent, Α᾿ριςτερὶ quoque, i. e. Sinistri, sunt dicti. Vide eundem Suicerum voce Πάχα num. I. 2. et num.
